MMR side effects, rash etc

Post by IpreferTrainers on Tue Jul 08, 2008 1:07 pm

Just out of interest, if your LO did have a reaction to their MMR, how soon/late did it show up? Isaac had his jab today, so if he's OK tomz, does that mean he'll stay OK?

Oh Amy! Tom's having his on Thursday. I'm dreading it. Seriously.
It's making me feel sick I'm so worried about it.
He's such a happy little boy at the moment too and I don't want him to get ill or be made miserable by a nasty pokey jab. pale

I think any side effects are supposed to crop up about 7-10 days after the MMR. Here's hoping our little puddings will be fine! x

Thanks everyone, so far so good Very Happy
I was speaking to our good neighbour friend, she's elderly now, but was telling me about when one of her sons had measles and they had to cover all lights in brown paper and there was nothing they could do but hope he'd be OK, I think we're very fortunate to have a choice today about vaccinations, but I also believe its correct we have that choice, although I do think the rise in these old viruses is worrying for those who haven't had the vaccine Neutral
