downs test - triples

hi girlies,

been trying to post on this new bunker forum for a while, didnt realise i needed to register on this one too Embarassed Embarassed

anyway

was just wondering how long it took for your results for the triples test to come back, ive been waiting nearly 2 weeks, i know i probably have nothing to worry about but im getting a little worried

i dint get mine back i had to ask the midwife about them, they dont normaly tell you the results unless your high risk

the midwife told me id get a letter from the hospital telling me the results, i didnt get it with my 1st but when i moved, with my 2nd at this hospital i got a letter, it wasnt really high risk i think it was about 1 in 1200(i dont know if thats high risk i didnt have any more scans though so guessing its not) ill ring the midwife on wednesday then for the results i think

I got mine back about 2 weeks after having them done. She told me that if there was a problem then they would contact me asap so no news was good news! hope this helps?? I got a letter from the hospital xx

Do the majority of people have the test? like the blood test n stuff? cos ive chosen not to have it..

i had it done as i dint think anything would come of it..unfortunatly the results came back high risk and now im in process of scans and havin an amnio done, if could go back i wouldnt have it done coz the stress and worry of it all. Wot will be will be

I'm waiting for mine too, nearly been two weeks, they told me it will take about 3 weeks now to come back - hopefully this means it's good news!

Normally they phone you for high risk and write you a letter for low risk, it takes about 2 weeks to get back so you should hear soon
