Fetal Hiccups

Post by Tiny Sue on Thu May 21, 2009 4:54 am

Hi girls - have noticed in the last couple of days that baby has been getting hiccups a lot - maybe 3 times a day, lasting for 10 minutes or so. Is this normal? I think I read that it may mean the cord is around the baby's neck... going to the gp tomorrow so I will ask her but if you could set my mind at ease I'd be grateful.

my mum always used to say I had hiccups ALL the time - and it didn't stop when I was born - and I'm still quite prone to them now lol!

Thanks girls, that's made me feel better. LO has done some moving too so it's all good.

It's funny. I haven't had hiccups since I was a small child. I never get them. Weird.
