I've just found this place. It's odd, I hope the normal forum gets back up and running soon!!

Lol I've not done that yet as I'm sat at work and should be working hehe

On serious countdown now though, 2 weeks Friday I can breathe a sigh of relief at 5pm as that's my last day hehe

Think they are all planning a leaving meal at lunchtime but god knows where yet. Lots of whispering lol

It's so exciting as it gets closer, makes it all even more real!!

We had two lunches as a couple of my team couldn't make the Thursday lunch. It was really nice!

Have you got any plans for maternity leave or just going to relax and enjoy your last few baby free weeks?

Yeah I can't wait!

I think just vegging and tidying with Jeremy Kyle is the most I will plan.

I can't trust madam to be early or late at moment as she went down so fast and consultant and midwife said same so will probably stay in most of time just in case lol

Trust me when you get to this stage all you'll want to do is stay in! I went up to Tesco and had to stop three times on the way home (a 5/10 minute walk) as I got a stitch under my bump and I was so out of breath. Old ladies were overtaking me!

I get like that now where she is so low down.

I tend to walk around as if I'm carrying something really heavy under my coat as I have to hold bump up to stop the aching getting too bad lol

Such a sexy look!

Haha I know, why didn't anyone mention how attractive we are during pregnancy?!

I just can't wait to get my baby out, a nice quick labour like Waterlillie would do me fine!

I had one like that - it's not all good you know cos you don't get ANY break from contractions and they're really intense right from the start.

I'm dreading this time - they've predicted me under an hour and a 9lb plus baby. Ouch.

I hadn't thought about that.

I think as long as I can get in the birthing pool and not have a labour that goes on for hours and hours then I'll be happy. Now I've said it I'll have jinxed it....!

The birthing pool is definitely the way forward. I was in agony until I got in the pool... then I was still in agony but not as agonising agony ha ha! I was begging never to get out of the pool, even after I'd delivered! clown

Good luck to both of you - how far gone are you both?

Hehe yeah Carl was a bit grinny at the gas and air...all the men were in the antenatal class until the midwife pointed out they will be able to tell if they have had some and then laughed at the men looking disappointed. Think all of them try it anyway lol

If you hover over it just says Basketball.

Yeah but this one affraid says "affraid" which isn't even spelt right! albino

And I'm sure "albino" (the rabbit) is politically incorrect.

Hi girls!

Damn PF going down!!

My labour was recorded as 2.5 hours!! But as Debecca said and even my midwife agreed- its actually harder work as you go from nothing to back to back contractions with no break in between for the whole way through! You barely get time for pain relief either! But at least its over with faster!
